Structural conflicts

1. Sharing food contradicts Mafia/Government motives of theft-based economy.

2. The County/State believes it has a mandate to regulate food businesses. Food sharing is not a business yet fear-based motives for regulation could logically be overlaid on the activity.

3. Public parks exist for recreation, recreation inherently includes food sharing.

4. Homelessness makes Mafias/Governments look bad. Especially when their friends visit to covertly invest in their political/gaming activities.

5. Homelessness makes nearly everyone uncomfortable. The non-homeless are afraid it might be contagious. The homeless are mostly physically uncomfortable.

6. The City Council employs an attorney who has issues with fecal matter. This could be related to his sexuality or it could be just a Mommy Dearest thing.

7. The City Council believes in "forcing people to get services". So much for free will.

8. Admittedly, Circle Park was never a jewel in the desert, even before Carpenter Sellers tried to "fix it up". But it was a place where a person could take a break. And in the afternoons, some good-intentioned people were trying to do the right thing.

9. But the City Council decided the best use of police officers is to arrest people for being unselfish.

10. Sure glad Oscar got re-elected by less than 15% of the voters...
